The Autumn Store is Birmingham's night of indiepop, and this is it's blog. Topics include music and gig reviews, tips on promoting, maybe guitar chords for songs I love, and music chit chat in general.

Greetings! I know this is kinda off topic but I'd figured I'd ask. Would you be interested in trading links or maybe guest writing a blog post or vice-versa? My blog goes over a lot of the same subjects as yours and I believe we could greatly benefit from each other. If you might be interested feel free to shoot me an email. I look forward to hearing from you! Wonderful blog by the way!

Hi there would you mind sharing which blog platform you're using? I'm going to start my own blog soon but I'm having a hard time deciding between BlogEngine/Wordpress/B2evolution and Drupal. The reason I ask is because your layout seems different then most blogs and I'm looking for something unique. P.S My apologies for being off-topic but I had to ask!

yeah the dragon bar is one of the smaller rooms, never seen a band there before. i'm interested to see what the barfly people have done to the sanctuary as a whole as they now run the whole building and have apparently refurbished it all. i'm guessing it will be like when the flapper closed and reopened looking almost exactly the same!

Not been to the sanctuary in ages, am I remembering correctly that the dragon bar is one of the small rooms upstairs? Seem to remember one of the club nights there a few years ago used it for bands once they'd realised the sound was terrible in the room which is now the Barfly.

There's a Slow Club session on the Marc Riley show on 6music tomorrow (was originally supposed to be Thursday but its been swapped with someone else)

Really looking forward to the gig, they were great at Latitude.
