Over at Sweeping The Nation, they make the valid and scary point that it’s been exactly 10 years since Kenickie’s last gig! Ten Years without Kenickie would have seemed unfathomable back then, but we made it through somehow.

Anyway, I couldn’t let it pass without a little reminder of why they were brilliant. Sadly Youtube is unable to replicate that gorgeous moment where Robot Song faded out and you had to fast forward and flip over the tape, happy in the knowledge that hearing Classy was only a few seconds away, but here’s In Your Car -

I apologise unreservedly for Jools Holland being on the start of this and ending up on the Autumn Store blog because of it. Lauren forgets some words in this video too but I thought this was a better tribute that some grainy mimed TotP videos presented by Nicky Campbell.
