My records from Cloudberry turned up today, and excitingly, American sweets were enclosed! A twizzler and a Jolly Rancher (apple flavoured). I’ve never heard of them but I’m sure they’ll be lovely.

It’s one of the things that I like about indiepop, the fact that people feel compelled to give each other free sweets - Ray had a similar experience recently when he recieved a lollypop from Wee Pop records.

If you don’t feel like buying stuff from an indiepop label, but do want free sweets, then you could do much worse than ordering things off Norman Records - an excellent independent mail order based in Leeds.
